Sage - Mathematical Software

Postby Tanner » June 20th, 2010, 10:50 am

Hi all,

I found this last night and found it quite interesting. It's quite simply to put a mathematical computation engine that lives on your computer.

From their mission: "Creating a viable free open source alternative to Magma, Maple, Mathematica and Matlab.". Very interesting. I have no experience with any of these software, but what I know is that Sage can do quite a lot of things.
