Re: New Member Handout
'Course dad does a few test copies and the first thing I notice is that I spelt the word "oppose" wrong.

Re: New Member Handout
First Impression: Nice and creative, and captures the readers attention.
- Would it be possible to put something else in area where it reads "The Handout"? Maybe like "FIRST Robotics" or...whatever.
- This is just me picking at grammar but in the "Our Mission" section, it reads "..an interest and appreciation in science..." generally one has an appreciation "of" something...
- The URL for the forum is wrong...
Other than the few little issues above, it looks superb. Um...if you plan on turning this into Mrs. Rutland to get copied, I don't think that the copy will copy the picture correctly. The copier ends up using too much block so pictures end up indiscernible. Plus I think it would look better in color anyways

- I could try a copy of that and see how it looks. Dad wanted me to put "What time is it? 1261", but that looked terrible.
- Would it be corerect to do that? Can someone have a interest "of something"? Confusing English...
- And some days I wonder how I can get anything done without mistakes...
Heh, and I also spelt "maneuver" wrong... Whee...
Yeah, I designed it so he could be as "grayscale friendly" as possible, but yeah color does make it look sweet.

could be "appreciation for"
~Remember Remember, the 5th of November.
Re: New Member Handout
and respect is spelled wrong in the team basics and mentors

Re: New Member Handout
hahaha. I didn't catch the "respect" spelling errors. Nice catch.
Maybe just rewrite the "interest and appreciation" sentence altogether but I'm sure it's no biggy.
And Tyler, the forums URL error was already pointed out, just as a heads up.

Re: New Member Handout
And yeah - the forum url is technically wrong, but I'm trying to reorganize the whole site.
Edit: Whee! And now it is fixed-ish. Now we don't need the team.prhsrobotics.com anymore! YAY! That means that all published work doesn't look idiotic with "Goto www.team.prhsrobotics.com". Now the forum is at "www.prhsrobotics.com/forum". YAY! Ok, I'm done.
