1. Motorola Engineers Assistance
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Engineers from one of our sponsors, Motorola, Inc., are coming to Peachtree Ridge at 4:00 PM on Thursday, November 4. If you have any questions that you would like to ask to the Motorola engineers, please write your inquiries on a sheet of paper and attend the meeting on Thursday.

Each team should have at least two members attending this meeting.

2. Forum registration

I'd like to bring your attention to our team forum (http://www.forum.prhsrobotics.com). We will be using the forum to share information with another. Our main source of communication will be through the forum within few weeks.

Please register on the forums!

3. Online Robot Demonstrations
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Members, please note that there are several online videos that pertain to VEX robots, such as those in YouTube. Please use your technology effectively and gain greater knowledge on how to build well-designed robots.

4. GSMST Challenge
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
There will be a VEX Qualifier competition on Saturday, November 6, at Gwinnett School of Mathematics, Science, and Technology (GSMST). The Robolions will be sending two teams to this event and will be bringing members to watch and learn from this competition. If you are interested in participating in this event, please complete your robot and perform a demonstration to Mrs. Rutland.

A small group of five to six people will go to GSMST to help them set up on Friday, November 5. Please notify Mrs. Rutland if you wish to assist in the setup. Also, GSMST has graciously offered to loan us their two competition fields for our November 20th event - please thank GSMST for their assistance.

5. VEX Robotics Competition Qualifier
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
The VEX Robotics Competition Qualifier is nearing! The Robolions will host and participate in the all-day tournament on November 20 at Peachtree Ridge High School. Team members must arrive to school by 7:00 AM at the day of the competition. Seeing as there are only two weeks left until the qualifier, the team suggests each team to create a timeline to complete the robot, program and practice. Teams also have the option to work on the robots on Thursday afternoons - please make the best use of your time! If you are unsure of anything, please contact your team's mentor.

The team asks for student volunteers to help set up the arena in the Commons area on Friday, November 19. Also, we require ten or more additional parents to assist us in this qualifier! Please notify Mrs. Rutland if you are able to assist us in this event.
