This is really a video worth watching, spite being only a few seconds long. A robot does a maze in less than five seconds. Not a tiny maze, a big, all over the floor maze. Really, click the link.

I'm saying "does a maze" as I'm not sure if its programmed of if it figures out how to do it. I'd expect it to make a few mistakes, but no.

In the description of the video, it said that the mice thing had already finished the search run, and it was just running the shortest route it had found.

Ah. That's still pretty good. One for finding a short route and two for going that fast without wiping out.
